13 Days OutAugust 10, 2008
Well, we are almost to the BIG CONCERT on the 23rd. Well, we are tying up loose ends and completing all our tasks before the BIG DAY, and now I am getting just a little bit tired, physically, that is. I am definitely taking some time off after this tour is over, whew! We are all doing our best to get all projects done on time so that we can present our best concert ever!

Wow - we are just twenty days out and every new day now is a little bit more exciting than the day before. We still have to go down to Guam and visit out friends there, but then we return and we go into rehearsals and then. Tha DUM! The Big Show.."C&K35, Back in the Day!"

We had standing room only..... at the Rainbow Villa after we opened for Frank Zappa in early 1973, at the old Civic Auditorium in Honolulu and our management thought that it was time to do a big concert. Now understand, we had not even recorded our first album yet, so the thought of a big concert seemed a little presumptuous to me, especially when they said they were thinking about doing it at the Waikiki Shell.

Tomorrow we leave for Guam and it's gonna be hot! The people there are so awesome and that's why we go there. My wife loves the shopping and I like the air conditioning.Back in the day Cee and I, on our first visit, took the milk plane to Guam and stopped at every island possible.

85 degrees and sunny! Another beautiful day in Paradise! Today (and every day) I am amazed by my 2 year old daughter Cassandra and thought I would like to write about it. Yes I am a proud father! The Big Break
March 4, 2008Hey everybody this year Cee(Cecilio for short) and I are celebrating 35 years together. It's been quite a journey and we decided that it might be a good idea to blog about it. "Back In The Day," which is what we're calling our 2008 tour. It seems only appropriate that we call it that because looking back it really makes me feel so fortunate to have had such a amazing career and it's all thanks to you.
